Bear Hunting Unit 4 – We offer a spot and stalk bear hunt in unit 4, which would be the Sargents, and Humphries. You are not allowed to hunt with dogs in these units. We will supply everything needed to make your hunt a complete success. They both can be high success rate hunts, depending on the food quality each year. On a good year you can possibly see 10+bears in a single day, and on a slow year they can be a little harder to locate but you still see bears. Both hunts are somewhat physically demanding. We will either be hunting off horse back, biking, or on foot. The hunt is the entire month of August, we typically hunt the towards the end of the month as the acorns are usually really coming in by then. This hunt is a very fun hunt as you normally have some warm weather, long days, and get to see some beautiful country. Please call to talk about going on a spot and stalk black bear hunt with us!
